Quand utiliser une boite placo® ?

La boite placo® est utilisée pour installer des prises et interrupteurs ou des systèmes domotiques dans des cloisons sèches. Il s'agit des plaques de plâtre (plus couramment appelées placo®) et des panneaux alvéolaires. Une boite encastrable placo® peut être simple, double, triple ou quadruple et avoir une profondeur de 40mm ou 50mm. Certaines boites placo® sont équipées de membranes enveloppantes afin d'éviter toutes fuites d'air entre le doublage et l'habitation. Ces boites d'encastrement sont « étanches à l'air » et permettent également d'être en accord avec la Réglementation Thermique 2012 (RT 2012).
